Theory of Architecture and Urbanism

The course follows the current trends in architecture and urbanism, which summarizes the theoretical conclusions. It also deals with issues of aesthetics, philosophy, psychology, assesses the contribution of art and science of architecture. Reflects the conclusions of the current history of architecture and orientation in the arts as part of the architecture.

Aims

Overview and orientation in the current theory of architecture and urbanism, guidelines and criteria of aesthetics and composition.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Active participation of students in the preparation of stemming Desk, work on the topics discussed by the lectures. The form provides for the replacement of Studies and Examinations of BUT and Dean FA VUT.
