Visual Postproduction - summer

The workshop deals with the application and creative use of effect and compositional programmes, namely Adobe AfterEffects, Discreet Combustion and Mirage. This happens in the cooperation with other programmes used during video editing (special effects, morphing, animation etc.). In the course, the individual approach is prefered, as well as the the teacher´s help with the solution of students´ particular problems in the area of digital video.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Familiarising with the examples of solutions of pictorial videocompositions by other artists (The Vasulkas, Godard & Mieville etc.). Mastering the work with current programmes and methods used during the processing of videopictures.

Prerequisites

Basics of digital video-editting.

Aims

The purpose of the course is to help students master such technical means and creative methods when processing moving images, by way of which they will be able to express their images and goals in the most appropriate way.
