Information Management

The core of the subject stems from the modern methods of the information management and system engineering. Lectures are oriented to understand basic principles and tools for the work with information sets and for qualified decision making in the area of the information technologies. Emphasis is put on the strategic sense of the information and bonds between business strategy of the company and strategy of the IT development, information market, Internet as the environment of the global information networks and the project approach. Mainly are based on the solution of the case studies and practical problems from the company practice.

4. Information strategy - solving of case study
5. Process modelling of organization, reengineering
6. Proposal of firm IS, value strings of activities, process model, techniques of forming seminars
7. Organization management in era of information society, role of internet and linkage to firm information systems
8. Application of firm information system in practice
9. Commercial use of internet, internet as part of marketing mix
10. Internet marketing in practice
11. Firm internet communication strategy, web audit as part of competitive strategy
12. Reality of electronic shop on Czech market
13. Study of firm
