Occupational safety at building works

Principles and obligations which must be observed from the viewpoint of safety in the course of building, assembly and maintenance works by both legal entities and natural persons. These principles and duties relate to individual basic building activities at a site. Basic duties of building works supplier, qualification of workers and their equipment with respect to the safety and health protection at the work.

Aims

·The objective of the subject is making the students acquainted with principles and obligations that should be met with regard to the safety at execution of building, assembly and maintenance jobs both by legal entities and natural persons – incl. respective legislation. They will also get acquainted with basic obligations of manger staff, with building contractors, with terms of safety qualification of the staff and their obligatory protective equipment.
·Passing the subject will improve knowledge of the student in an important area of the occupational safety.
