Laboratory classes in biotechnology

The students obtain the practical experience by the determination and maintainance of microorganisms. They perform the testing of different ways of cultivation of selected strains of microorganisms. They investigate the production of some primary and secondary metabolites. The contents of exercise is immobilization and consecutive characterization of biotechnologically important enzymes.

Aims

The goal of the exercise is to bring the students nearer to the technique of the work with biological materials under laboratory conditions and better understanding of theory of biotechnological processes as well.
