Work Experience: City Camp

The subject focuses on the organizational aspect of holding a city camp, training camp, sports camp - preparation, then execution of what was prepared and leading a group of children or adults. Students will select an activity of their choice with which their work experience will take place under the leadership of their tutor.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will select an activity of their choice with which their work experience will take place under the leadership of their tutor. The output of the subject is written material - a seminar thesis in which they will produce a project for the organization of a one-week block of activities for children or adults in the holiday period, execute it in practice and during this use the theoretical and practical knowledge from their studies.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Awarding of credit:
Completion of a two-week long practical training programme, with written confirmation from the relevant workplace (40 points) and a seminar thesis (60 points).
