Aims

The aim of this interdisciplinary subject is to become familiar with the issues involved in the management and operation of sports facilities, and with the rules regarding their maintenance to ensure fault-free operation.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Within the framework of the practical lessons, each student will individually produce two seminar theses.
1. Evaluation and complex analysis of the existing dispositions of a sports facility, including the proposal of a set of measures for the improvement of the quality of their operations, and possibly construction alterations.
2. Volumetric study at the level of an investment project for the execution of a new sports facility, as set by the tutor.
Production of a seminar thesis with a set topic:
"Evaluation of the current state"
Textual part: Description of the dispositions, technical/technological engineering solution of a specific sports facility. Evaluation from the aspects of its overall state. Proposal for its improvement in accordance with its operational requirements, in the form of the general reconstruction and improvement, and possibly supplementation, of technical/operational equipment.
Graphical part: operational diagram, scale 1 : 200, photo
Seminar thesis on the topic:
"A study of the design of a sports facility"
Purpose and justification of a proposal for the establishment of a sports facility, description of the disposition of the solution of the operational design, including technical and hygiene facilities and the choice of a suitable construction solution for a specific covered building designated for sport.
Graphical part: Orientational plan depicting the incorporation of the construction into the given locality, dispositional diagram - ground plan 1:200, cross section 1:200, view 1:200; 1 detail of construction alterations.
Gradual setting of seminar theses; regular consultations regarding and corrections of these seminar theses in practical lessons.
