Projecting, Administration and Security

Basic elements of computer networks. The structure of computer networks. The design of computer networks. Transmission protocols and their security (IEEE 802.3, TCP/IP, IPv6, IPSec, SSL, WAP). Administration and security of linux systems. The configuration of network services and network elements. The securing of network services. Firewalls and communication blocking. Monitoring of network elements and traffics.

Students are able to move in projecting computer networks and in network services.

Prerequisites

The subject knowledge on the Bachelor´s degree level and basic knowledge of Linux are requested.

6. Transmission protocols and their security - WAP, 802.11i and Radius.
7. Administration of linux systems.
8. Security of linux systems.
9. Configuration of network elements.
10. Configuration of network services.
11. The security of network services.
12. Firewalls and communication blocking.
13. Monitoring of network elements and traffics.
