CISCO academy 3 - CCNP

This course is part of the official Cisco CCNP curriculum. Students will learn about routing issues in large-scale networks (ISP, WAN), connecting of autonomous systems, route redistribution and secure routing. Course is also focused on multicast data transfer and IPv6 Internet implementation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student will learn how to plan, configure, and verify the implementation of complex enterprise LAN and WAN routing solutions, using a range of routing protocols. The course also covers configuration of secure routing solutions to support branch offices and mobile workers. Comprehensive labs emphasize hands-on learning and practice to reinforce configuration skills. Course covers the same skills that are validated in the CCNP certification exams 642-902 ROUTE.

Prerequisites

One of three following conditions is required: Completed XCA2 course or valid CCNA 640-802 certification or succefully finished CCNA4 Exploration (WAN Tehnologies) at another Cisco Academy.

Overview of routing technologies in LAN and WAN networks. Implementation and configuration of routing protocols (EIGRP, multi-area OSPF, internal and external BGP). Route redistribution and optimalization. IPv6.
