Diploma Seminar I (M-FIN, M-PMO)

FSI-TSDAcad. year: 2011/2012

Each student is required to deliver a thirty-minute lecture dealing with his/her diploma project. He/she also presents the subject in a written form as a paper to be offered to a scientific journal.

Aims

The aim of the course is to teach students how to prepare an oral and a written presentation of technical papers.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at seminars is obligatory and is checked by the tutor. Missed lessons may be compensated for by the agreement with the tutor.

Syllabus

The students are informed in detail about the requirements of both oral (30 minutes) and written forms of a scientific or technical paper.
Each student delivers a thirty minutes lecture dealing with his/her diploma project and the subject and the form of the lecture is immediately discussed at the seminar. The student treats the subject of the lecture also in the written form which is reviewed by the supervisor.
