The course deals with topics related to the aircraft propulsion. Basic knowledge at a level of secondary school physics and mathematics regarding the structure, function and operation of a piston gas engine are revised at the beginning of the course. Principals, structure, function and operation of jet engines of above all aircraft of the efficiency level B and A certified according to JAR/FAR 25 are dealt with.
