Evaluation of Movable Property

Subject is aimed at evaluation of selected sorts of movable property - vehicles, trailers and machines.

Students gain knowledge and skills necessary for evaluation of vehicles, trailers and machines and for determination of material damage.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Condition for gaining the credit is semestral work divided into 3 training reports - evaluation of vehicle, determination of material damage on the vehicle and evaluation of machine. Exam consists of written test and oral part with the condition of successful written test.

Course curriculum

1. Price law in the Czech Republic, legal rules, means of evaluation, evaluation standards.
2. Object of evaluation (movable and real estate property, component and accessories, possession, common property etc.).
3. Evaluation of property - basic terms (price, value, coefficient of salability, new price, price etalon, price share, age, durability, wear etc.).
4. Market of goods, supply and demand, market equilibrium.
5. System definition of markets (elements, relations, interaction, activation, exhibition, aftereffects, surroundings etc.) Division of markets, change of market equilibrium, properties of market constitution.
6. Basic principles and methods used at property evaluation.
7. Introduction to the evaluation of vehicles, basic terms.
8. Evaluation of personal vehicles, determination of technical value of the vehicle, amortization scales, new price, time and common price.
9. Specificity of evaluation of trucks, motorbikes, tractors, buses and trailers.
10. Determination of material damage on the vehicle, estimation of repairs influence.
11. Determination of material damage - calculations.
12. Evaluation of machines, estimation and determination of technical condition, amortization scales, determination of new price, calculation of time and common price.
13. Evaluation of file of objects, objects in use, deposit, evaluation of inventory.
