Course detail
System Concept/Approach to Risk Engineering
ÚSI-2SASPAcad. year: 2011/2012
Course content focuses on the following areas: technical aspects of the problems of risk systems, buildings and structures, their evaluation, risk analysis of the building structure. Risk and defectology terms. Randomness in risk. Engineering quality. Assessment of reliability of structures, the design on the basis of probabilistic approaches and methods for partial coefficients of reliability. Load bearing capacity limit, limit state. Compute the probability of structural failure. Data collection and prediction aim at problems of risk engineering. Effect of study will appear in the analysis and modeling problems in the field of risk engineering and the ability to formulate the critical points (identification of hazardous locations) project, respectively existing structures. It will be used in applications of computer technology.
