beginners: critical thinking and an interest in contemporary art
advanced: do recycling of garbage at home and read some popular articles about ecology and environmentalism
professionals: relate their own disciplinary knowledge to new ways of perceiving the world today

introduction and explanation of general terms, ideas, concepts specific issues from art history (1950-today) historical and contemporary examples from the arts ecological ways of perceiving the audio and visual within the arts concepts and ideas, small studies together with the students presentation, discussion, and group evaluation
