The Book as a medium

FaVU-1KME-LAcad. year: 2011/2012

Books have been seen as a sovereign artistic medium in the last twenty years. New categories, such as book art (authors' boks, or books-objects) have been recognized. The course will present some catalogs from the archive of J.H. Kocman unavailable otherwise. If possible, field trips will be organized to important collections (The Moravian Gallery in Brno, The Museum of Art in Olomouc) and meetings with important authors will be held.
