Testing and technology

FAST-BI02Acad. year: 2011/2012

Technical subject contents is divided into two technical sections:
1) Testing in civil engineering
2) Technology of concrete and ceramics production.
Ad 1)
Requirements for building structures according to the EU instruction about building products and the system of tests of materials, segments and constructions
Division of tests into certificate tests and checking tests, destructive and non-destructive.
Regression relations and statistic evaluation of results.
Essentials non-destructive testing methods and their application in laboratories (electro-acoustic, magnetic and hardness measurement methods).
Radiometric methods of reinforcement location, weight density and moisture of loose materials and radon in buildings detection.
Ad 2)
Technology of concrete production. Types and components of concrete.
Fresh concrete processing, concrete hardening and curing.
Basic findings about produce and usage of ceramics product.
