Concrete structures (E)

FAST-BL03Acad. year: 2011/2012

Monolithic framed structures.
Foundation structures – footings, continuous footings, grid and mat foundations, slabs.
Two-way slabs edge and locally supported. Ribbed and cassette slabs. Wall beams.
Precast structures – skeletons, halls, buildings from flat and spatial units.
Reinforced concrete storage constructions. Retaining walls.
Prestressed structures – principals, materials, types, method of prestressing.
Design of water-structural concrete structures – tanks for liquids, water towers, channels.
Principles of masonry structures design.
Construction and control of concrete structures.
