Sanitation Installations and Gas Installations

Principles of hydraulic of drainage. Solving of separators and small wastewater treatment systems. Design of rainwater retention, rainwater harvesting systems, roof drainage with siphonic system and safety overflow. Hydraulic of water installations and detailed calculation method for pipe sizing. Estimation of water demand.
Generation of potable hot water. Eqipment for fire-water supply.
Protection against pollution of potable water in water installations.
Pumping devices for drainage and water installations inside buildings.
Distribution pipelines and service lines. Gas and industrial pipeworks and appliances for buildings. Gas boiler houses. Pressure gas stations and distribution of liquefied petrol gases (LPG). Gas pressure regulators and gas meters

Learning outcomes of the course unit

After graduation student can solve sanitation installations, gas pipeworks and appliances for buildings, industrial gaslines and its conections.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about building contructions. Basic knowledge about drainage systems, water installations and gas pipeworks inside buildings.

2.Separators, small wastewater treatment systems
3.Retention of rainwater, rainwater harvesting systems, roof drainage with siphonic system, safety overflows
4.Hydraulic of water installations, detailed calculation method for pipe sizing, water demand
5.Generation of potable hot water - designing methods
6.Sanitation installations - eqipment for fire-water supply
7.Protection against pollution of potable water in water installations
8.Pumping devices for drainage and water installations inside buildings
