Learning outcomes of the course unit

The goal of subject are knowledges from Spherical Astronomy, coordinate and time systems, time conversions and basic tasks and methods of Geodetic Astronomy.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of surveying with particular view of angular measurements, knowledge of plane and spherical trigonometry, Newton’s gravitational law, theory of free nutation.

7.Methods of apparent places of stars computation.
8.Earth pole motion.
9.Conventional reference coordinate system.
10.Basic tasks of Geodetic Astronomy.
11.Instruments in Geodetic Astronomy.
12.Composition of the program of the observation.
13.Usage of Geodetic Astronomy

Introduction of Spherical Astronomy, coordinate systems, time counting and measurement, basic tasks and methods of Geodetic Astronomy, instruments of classical Geodetic Astronomy.
