Remote sensing

FAST-HE52Acad. year: 2011/2012

Methods of remote sensing ( principles and position in science system). Electro magnetic radiation and it’s types, natural and artificial source of radiation. Radio metric quantities and their measuring. Radiant properties of land objects, regime and methods of finding out. Atmosphere position in remote sensing (electromagnetic radiation reach through atmosphere, carrying function of atmosphere). Methodology of collecting ground and aerospace data. Analogy and digital interpretation of remote sensing picture data, classification of picture data. Remote sensing application in geodesy, hydrology, environment protection and it’s connections with geographical information system.
