Course detail
FAST-CP52Acad. year: 2011/2012
The course links with the fundamental subjects such as sewerage, hydraulics, hydrology, etc. It focuses on hydroinformatics tools, the technology incorporating numerical computing models, tools for data archiving, visualisation and analysis applied in master planning and global studies. The adoption of information technology within the water management is therefore growing rapidly and driven more by available technology than by user-needs. Students obtain important information about it during individual practical classes. The course also includes significant issues in environmental protection: modelling of urban drainage; modelling of stormwater runoff, quantity and quality.
