Project – Building Enterprise

Elaboration of the budget of the building construction solved in the frame of the subject Project – building construction. Compilation of the whole costs of the construction and elaboration of total estimate. Exploitation of software for budgeting and evaluation of structural works. Assumption of basic knowledge in the area of budgeting and evaluation of structural works. Elaboration of specific technical and economic groundwork and documentation for structural construction realisation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge to separately make bill of quantities and cost estimate based.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of price setting problems and costing in civil engineering. Orientation in coding and classification of construction production. Required are skills of user ability to work with cost estimation data and with software applications for cost estimation and costing in con-struction development.

Course curriculum

1. Assigning of the project and the determination of the project groundwork for the project elaboration.
2.–10. Elaboration, consultations and corrections of the budgetary part of the project.
11. Elaboration, consultations and corrections of the document part of the project.
12. Presentation and vindication of the project.
13. Consignment of the project.

To separately make bill of quantities and cost estimate based on student’s own made building documentation. To adopt skills of cost estimation and costing in construction development.
