Course detail

Special machines

FAST-CW53Acad. year: 2011/2012

·The subject is aimed at the utilization of special machinery from mining up to the processing of raw materials in the production of building materials (e.g. for light building materials, mortar materials, raw and fine ceramics, for concrete goods). Machinery is described according to assortment and type complexes – from the point of view of structure, parameters, function, operation and maintenance. Orientation at application of the latest mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components in machines.
·Special machines for mining and treatment of source raw materials – special mills and mixers. Description of special conveyor equipment, pumps for various materials and raw materials, machinery in production of reinforcement elements. Forming machines for structural elements, surface treatment machines, machines and machine sets for recycling and renewal, machines and equipment for cutting technology.
·Theoretical parts deal with proposals and calculations of an optimum operational technological as well as economic application of machinery. Machinery application possibilities in automated and robotized operational units. Power demand issues of an operation, incl. calculations of power demand and related economic efficiency of the operation. Environmental aspects of the applications. Examples of the latest situation in machine technology and impact on the technological processes optimisation on the steady improvement of environment.
