Knowledge of the Middle Ages architecture, from the ancient Christians, over the Byzantine and Islamic architecture, the Pre-Romanesque architecture, the Old Slavonic architecture, the European nad the Czech Romanesque and Gothic architecture to the most outstanding Middle Ages building complexes; development of the art of construction in relation to the social and economic background and the stage of technological development.
