Course detail

Selected sections of building technology processes - GP

FAST-CW54Acad. year: 2011/2012

The first part the course covers the study of selected construction processes linked with carcass and interior and finishing processes at the realization of the building constructions. It is dealing with technology, space and time structure, mutual links, requirements for the site preparation, principles of the execution of construction processes and respective quality requirements. In the part dealing with execution of building construction technologies of special construction foundation for excavated underground constructions are given. Further a summary of classical and modern tunnelling systems and assemblies, machines and equipment for building of underground constructions is presented.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students will master the course objective of the Selected Issues of the Technology of GP Construction Processes, acquire basic knowledge of implementation of selected building processes of underground, building and engineering constructions. This knowledge further on enables subsequent study of time planning, modelling, optimisation, and rational management of site operations.

Prerequisites

The students should have mastered the basic knowledge of geology, geo-mechanics, construction foundation, planning of underground and transport constructions.
