The subject will learn students to manage 3D modelling (advanced NURBS volume modelling) and basics of visualisation in Computer Aided Design. Rhinoceros 4.0 will be used in the course to reach this goal.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student will obtain theoretical knowledge of 3D modelling using NURBS curves and surfaces and practical skill in creating 3D models using Rhinoceros 4.0.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of any CAD environment, i. e. 2D work (AutoCAD or Rhinoceros welcomed).
