Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The subject is closed by an exam. The exam consists of a written part (2 hours) and an oral part (15 minutes). The marking is given by the scale of EATCS

Functions of one real variable, economic functions, limit of a function, derivative and differential,undefinite and definite integral, application in analyses of one-factor economic models of demand, supply,revenue, cost, profit and production

To get acquainted with the basic tools of calculus of functions of one variable necessary to describe economic laws and processes.
