CAD Systems I
FSI-RS1Acad. year: 2012/2013
The course is focused on modern technology and modern methods used in the development and design of a product. At the beginning the term “Computer Aided Design” is defined along with its integration into the production process. Next, CAD systems are dealt with in more detail, systems separated into categories and the use of each category is explained with a view to working methods and available tools.

Credit: active attendance in practices, presentation of project results.
Examination: defence of semestral project, delivery of project results in paper an digital form. Form of project results delivery:
1) 3D digital model
2) drawing documentation in paper form (main assembly and subassemblies) minimal size of drawing format is A2.
3) Technical report in paper form
4) Four reference pictures in PNG or JPEG (min. resolution 1600x1080)
5) All mentioned data in digital form on CD with
author names, name of project, year and group number on front side.
Examination: student must pass the final test to complete the course.
