Creative Methods in Engineering

The students will be made familiar with the basic knowledge of the process of thinking, aimed at the creative way of thinking, in contrast to the basic features of the conventional way of thinking. In accordance with the systematic approach, methods of creative thinking and barriers to creativity are systematized and analysed. Typology of personality and of its dispositions is made. Students learn the fundamentals of general and special ethics, aimed at the ethics of scientific cognitive process, ethics of dialogue and ethics of business. In accordance with the systematic approach, the latest approaches to solving engineering problems are presented, i.e. parallel engineering, computer support, re-engineering, computer aided production, safety engineering, mechatronic approach, and logistics, at a general level.
