Course detail

Energy use

FEKT-CUEEAcad. year: 2012/2013

The subject makes students familiar with problems of the consumption and use of electrical energy. The electrical energy is used in different processes such as heating, cooling, illuminating, transportation, information generation and transmission, etc. The electrical energy use is related to its consumption, which is realized by means of electrical appliances. In the area of energy consumption, the students are apprised of significant electrical appliances groups, of their design, operating and consumption characteristics, etc. Parts about the energy use are focused above all on electro heating and lighting engineering.
