Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student gains improved and detailed knowledge of electroinsulation systems in constructions of electric machines, devices and apparatus. Knowledge of suitable materials, their assembling, of environmental factors enable to design EIS with high operation reliability and designed life time, even in presence of unfavorable working environment.

Prerequisites

The subject knowledge on the Bachelor´s degree level is requested.

Aims

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with electroinsulation systems (EIS) in electric machines, devices and apparatus, with selection of suitable materials for assembling of EIS and with factors influencing reliability and life time of EIS, even under unfavorable conditions.
