Impedance transformation and matching. Basic theory of metal waveguides. Radiation of elementary sources, radiation patterns of linear antennas and arrays. Frequently used antennas, parameters of antennas. Wave propagation along Earth surface, radio wave communication. Waves in inhomogeneous medium, reflection, diffraction.
