Laboratory project - MA I

FCH-BAA_LSP1Acad. year: 2012/2013

Laboratory project – systems and materials for medical applications – based on real themes suggested by industrial partners, added with excursions. Team work training based on specific problem from the area of medical systems and materials tutored by expert from industry or academic staff member. Explanation of principles of project preparation and management in research and development. Project themes will be selected from following areas: (1) Materials for medical or nanomedical applications (organic and inorganic, preparation, testing, toxicity, biodegradability). (2) Regenerative medicine (tissue engineering, wound healing etc.; scaffolds, cells applications into scaffolds, evaluation of scaffold quality, wound healing preparations). (3) Delivery systems and nanoparticles (classical and polymeric micelles, liposomes and other aggregated structures, environment-sensitive structures, magnetic and fluorescence nanoparticles, biodegradation, interactions with cells). (4) Sensors for nanomedicine (detection, construction, materials, signal collecting and processing)
