The course is intended to widen and deepen the knowledge of design and manufacturing technology - machining focused on the material, logistic and automation aspects of processes which take place during the interaction of the cutting tool - workpiece - machine tool. Emphasis is placed on the optimization of technological processes when using computer technology. Also dealt with are the problems of semi-product selection, order of processes, machine tool selection, cutting tool selection and assessment of cutting conditions including automatic NC programming and CNC application.
