Course detail

Evaluation of Surface Texture

FSI-XTP-KAcad. year: 2012/2013

The course makes the students equantaince with the basic principles of product surface texture evaluation which are realised after technological operations.
The subject deals with methods evaluation of surface texture from the viewpoint of basic standardized characteristics, and also with other evaluation methods – frequency and amplitude characteristics. Further there are analysed the manners of surface layer evaluation of components from the viewpoint of residual stresses and methods of their study and measurement.
