The project basis is working with students to create an environment in which the team will be able to learn skills and competencies. And not only those essential, but work well in a team, which can be described as multidisciplinary. These skills are among the most in demand in the private sector for graduates, while missing the most of these graduates. All information is provided on www.muniss.cz.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The output of the study is to report on the project on a given topic that relates to practical problems. Topics are real, have many points of view, and are interdisciplinary. Project report should contain a comprehensive solution. Students learn to work in multidisciplinary teams, working on projects that will be implemented in practice, interact with experts and gain experience with the presentation of the project authority.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the teaching methods are described in Article 7 of the Study and Examination Regulations of the University.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Finished work evaluates five-member commission, which will each be represented by one project partner. Workshop will be followed by a ceremony, awarding of diplomas and prizes.
For completion of the course is considered to submission of the project.

Aims

Project goal is solving projects commissioned by the Brno City Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce, in which students gain experience in several fields.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Students will meet during the semester with the team at agreed times. Report on activity and participation of students in the meetings served the team leader responsible tutor. Because this is a university and interuniversity teams, it is necessary to find a compromise in the negotiation meetings. From participating in the meeting can apologize.
