A student gains the ability to solve selected problems from the field of concrete engineering structures relating to diploma thesis.
A student gains the ability to solve selected problems from the field of concrete bridge structures relating to diploma thesis.
A student gains virtue to present his design and to defend it.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Education runs in a form of seminars. The main subject matters are elaborated on individually defined seminar works.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

To gain the credit, the students should elaborate individually defined seminary works. The students are obliged to consult the works continuously in the given terms and to defend to the fixed date. The presences in the seminar are checked.

Course curriculum

1. Preparation of input data and specifications needed for diploma project.
2.-6. Design, consultation and correction of the seminary projects. Preparation and design of a part of diploma project.
7. Presentation and defence of the seminary projects.
8. Submission of the project.

Individually solve selected problems from the field of engineering and bridge structures relating to diploma thesis.
