Fine Arts I.

Basic knowledge and skills related to mastering the area and the space by means of drawing techniques. Functions and alternatives of a line, 3D space performance, depiction of natural and anthropogenic materials, the composition principles, application in architecture. The subject at the very beginning of study helps to gain the ability of perceiving and depicting the space and the matter as the necessary attributes of the architectural design.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

to master the compositional rules of drawing, proportional correctness, perspective, construction of the space. To skill the expression of space within the 2D flat.

Prerequisites

The subject is involved in 1st semester of study. It does not connect with any previous discipline. Elementary skills in drawing proved by the aptitute test are supposed.

Co-requisites

Brief knowledge of the art and architecture history.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The conditions of crediting the subject is at least 80% attendance at the practical lessons and to submit required number nad quality of study works.
