Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will get knowledge and skills from project management. They will adopt processes and methods in construction project management. They manage flow planning method, they use space-time graph for the time, resource, cost and financial planning of construction. They handle the issue of risk management in construction. These all forms the knowledge base for the realization of projects.

Prerequisites

Common knowledge of construction production in the Czech Republic, legislative processes connected with construction, documentation of construction projects, technology of construction production and basics of network analysis, basic knowledge in the area of financing, prices and management in civil engineering.

Co-requisites

Ability to handle managerial work in the construction company in terms of management and human resources management.

At the end of the lecture, students are invited to a discussion.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Study of the course is completed with credit and examination. Credit is awarded after completion of all obligations, i.e. attendance, submission of individual work and successfully passing credit test.
The exam consists of written and oral part. Participation in the exam limited with obtaining the credit. The written test consists of five questions. After a positive evaluation follows an oral exam done in the form of the debate over the three issues randomly selected from a from previously know
