Learning outcomes of the course unit

- Define the historical context of the gradual improvement of the technological level and maturity of our civilization,
- To understand not only basic but also a special technology
- Define the concept of technology and Technological design el. machinery and equipment,
- Build a technological process for the production of electrical components. machinery and equipment,
- Formulate the essence of technology, the basic structure used machine tools,
- Implement a proposal to improve the production technology of the technical system.

Prerequisites

- Apply knowledge of materials engineering,
- To understand the technical literature and master basic computer skills.
- Explain the scientific methods used to improve the technical level of electrical output.

Technological process, essential types, specialties.
Construction technology, materials and their technological and physical properties. Material invention.
Basic operation and tools using in electrical production, special parts production.
Nonconvential production. Electroerosive machining, laser shaping, electrochemical shaping, spark shaping, abrasive shaping.
Special welding technology and welding automation. Examples in power electric productions. Thermal material cutting.
Special surface finish methods and their applications, thermodifusional plating, hot dipping, chemical deposition, iont plating.
Surfaces and metal coating in factory production for different environments and climatic conditions, transport and store. Surface performance.
Methods and equipment for surface quality measurements and testing.
Industrial design and its influence on electrical equipment quality.
Automation and integrated mechanization of industrial production. Robots and industrial remote control manipulators applications.
Inventions in electric power industry, intelligent materials, superconductivity.
Expert system using in physical principle of special technology studies.

Introduction to laboratory and computer exercises.
Technologies used in production of electrical machines and apparatuses presesntation. Energy flow demonstration and energy transmition means.
Basic technologies presentation in ÚVEE FEI VUT workshop.
Electrical machines functional tests.
Electrical apparatuses functional tests.
Manufacturing of magnetic circuits, windings and special parts of el. machines.
Technologies used in production of el. apparatuses.
Mounting and surface shaping with the point of view of the climatic conditions and enviroment.
Automation and mechnization, robots and manipulators application.
Electrical equipments EMC realization.
Practical testing of the lectures presentented up to now.
Final test.
