The course is related to the "Fundamentals of Power engineering I." course and makes students acquainted with the application of basic physical laws, above all of hydromechanics and thermomechanics, applicable designing and utilization of power machines and equipment. These laws are used to improve the efficiency, operational quality and reliability of these machines and equipment, as well as the technological and material demands. The course is also aimed at incorporating of these machines and equipment into power systems and their control dependingon loading and other conditions.
