Course detail

Technical Diagnostics I

FSI-XT1Acad. year: 2013/2014

The course is focused on the most advanced knowledge in technical diagnostics. Its contents continue “Principles of technical diagnostics” course (CTD ) in the bachelor study programme. Despite of this, some basic principles are repeated in the introductory lecture (diagnostic tool, system, model, diagnostic signal), and those are remarkably extended later. The use of artificial intelligence in the diagnostics is presented, and the selected diagnostic methods, for example, thermodiagnostics, flow diagnostics and level height diagnostics are discussed in detail. Attention is devoted to the existing measuring instruments, methods of measurement, and especially, to the assessment and evaluation of the monitored system conditions.
