Geodetic networks

Position network two and three dimensional. Construction methods, network projects, stabilization and signalisation of points. Conversion of measured quantity into display surface. Network with measured direction synopsis and lengths, satellite networks. Adjustment of point coordinates in surface levels, adjustment of 3D networks. Local networks, free network. Accuracy analysis of aligned coordinates and their functions. Transformation of surface and spatial networks. Nowadays methods and technology of building point fields. Project geodetic network. Level networks. Conversions of measured super elevations. Adjustment of levelling traverse and networks in CSNS and accuracy of area network. Maintenance and repair of networks

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Mastering to establish, to observe, to adjust and analyze the quality of the local geodetic network. Select the appropriate connection method local geodetic network in the geodetic frame.

Prerequisites

Adjustment methods, matrix calculus, local maxima and minima of functions of several variables. Helmert's coordinate transformation.

Co-requisites

Mathematic I, II, Geodesy (Surveying) I, II, III, Theory of errors and adjustment computation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.

Successful completion of two written tests, submission and approval of the results of computational exercises, assessment

1. Geodetic networks, conversion of measured quantity.
2. Adjustment of point coordinates.
3. Horizontal (2D) and space (3D) networks adjustment. Traverse adjustment.
4. Accuracy analyzing of the results of adjustment, confidence intervals
5. Transformation of coordinates.
6. Differential similarity transformation
7. Local networks.
8. Free network adjustment.
9. Maintenance and repair of networks.
10. Project and optimization of networks.
11.Adjustment of levelling traverse and networks in CSNS.
