Learning outcomes of the course unit

Extend the knowledge of students about the metrological aspects that are associated with the geodetickými measurements.
An overview of national metrology system in the Czech Republic. Fundamentals of metrology.
An overview of the basic regulations and selected technical standards used in the surveying practice.
The basics of ISO 9000 standards, a set of standards ISO, EN.
Skill gauge calibration.



Prerequisites

Fundamental knowledge of surveying.

Co-requisites

Knowledge of construction and industrial measurement technology of surveying.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
The use of e-learning system Moodle.
Proffesional excursion to the Czech metrological Institute.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Attendance at practical courses, submission of protocols from courses, successful completion of the written tests, passing written and oral examination.

Deepening of students knowledge by metrologic aspects which are connected with geodetic measurements. Overview of Czech Standards for engineering geodesy.
