Department

Institute of Technology, Mechanisation and Construction Management (TST)

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of methodology of pre-production and production stages of the construction technology preparation. The focus is on the construction site workflow, project proposal for construction site equipment and project proposal for lifting mechanisms, flexible planning and forms of necessary resources evaluation for the construction implementation.

Prerequisites

Capability to apply in practice individual construction processes, knowledge of basic construction phases, knowledge in the area of construction realization and construction management.

Co-requisites

Progressive deepening of knowledge in the field of construction technology and partial construction processes

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching is the form of lectures and seminars. The course includes individual work on the assigned project and field trips to construction sites.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

In order to obtain credits, students must take active participation during seminars (no more than 2 absences allowed), submit the protocol compiled during the term including graphic attachment. All materials must be the result of the student´s individual work.
End of course exam has written and oral part
