Application of theoretical knowledge to given type of the building. Study of literature, data treatment for application theoretical knowledge, computer using, options of resolution and theirs evaluation. Energy and ecological evaluation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The development of creative abilities in solving problem tasks in the design, function verification or different research systems of environment engineering. The students acquire skills for laboratory work, in situ measurements or increase their knowledge in specialized calculation of behaving modelled technical systems.

Prerequisites

Indoor microclimate, plumbing systems, heating, air - condition, energetics of the buildings on the level of the summer semester master´s degree.

Co-requisites

In parallel is necessary to pass the course Experimental methods.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at practical classes is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Consultations unfinished tasks and presentation of the report in credit week.

1.Issue introduction. Problem definition.
2-7. Problem analysis, study of chosen problem. Study of resolution option. Basic experimental access. Project resolution of chosen option.
8-9. Experimental solution

Assignment and specification of the building and monitored technical system.
Processing of calculation part.
Formulation of experimental, or specialized calculation, or another task in accordance with assignment of master´s thesis.
