Contemporary Interpretation Approaches in Artisic Practice

Overview of methodologically different approaches and interpretations of artworks which crystallized in fine-art history, aesthetics and philosophy of art in the 20th century. Analysis and comparison of existing interpretations of well-known artworks created by important thinkers, aestheticians and art theorists. Range of interpretative strategies including modern iconographic and iconological methods in history of art and poetics, as well as formalistic-aesthetical, structuralist and semiological interpretations. Psychological, phenomenological, sociological and cultural-anthropological approaches and ideological models of interpretations of the artwork will be also dealt with.

Overview of methodologically different approaches and interpretations of artworks which crystallized in fine-art history, aesthetics and philosophy of art in the 20th century. Analysis and comparison of existing interpretations of well-known artworks created by important thinkers, aestheticians and art theorists.
