Subject is lectured by an external lector in English language. It is announced in advance and it's separately scheduled in 12 hours of teaching.

The course focuses on financial and investment management: Capital Budgeting Techniques, Estimation of Alternative Investments,Project Cash Flow,Investment project.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students gain theoretical knowledge of finance and investment management company in the English language. Students should be able to practically apply the knowledge in financial and investment management based on acquired knowledge and skills

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have general economic knowledge.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Professional knowledge is verified by a written examination. Student gets five special issues of the theoretical part of the written examination which is defined by lectures from the area of financial and investment management of firm in English language. Students are evaluated according to the grading scale ECTS scoring (70 points).

Student's skills are tested team of term paper on an assigned topic.
Student gets 30 points by completing a team project

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the concept of financial and investment management firm in English language.
