Diploma Thesis

Development of an individual technical project is the key activity. The student works on a problem chosen from the proposals offered by ELCOM departments. The diploma project can be conceived as a continuation of the technical project NM2E, which has been work out in the winter term by the student. The activity is evaluated after the submission of the manuscript of the diploma thesis to the supervisor and its acceptance.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The graduate is able (1) independently develop a technical project, (2) write a technical report for the project, (3) defend the project.

Prerequisites

A successful defense of the technical project (NM2E) is the prerequisite.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Student has to write a master degree thesis and pass defence. Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Diploma thesis is evaluated by the committee for final state examinations.

The activity is aimed to working out a diploma project.

The work of the student on the project is checked in frame of regular individual consultations with the supervisor.
