FSI-LS0Acad. year: 2014/2015
The students will be familiarized with basic topics in the field of power engineering and electric power engineering from the perspective of mechanical, power and nuclear engineer. The lectures are focusing on the main topics of classic power engineering (boilers, turbines, heat exchangers, resources in decentralized power engineering), nuclear power engineering (systems of nuclear power plants, reactors, safety of nuclear power plants etc.), renewable energy resources (e.g. biomass, hydropower, wind power, solar power) and electric power engineering (power sources and supply, transmission grid, control loops and systems of electric units etc.). The content and supervision of this course is equally provided by departments of power engineering at CUT in Prague, FME BUT, VŠB-TU Ostrava, by and transmitted by a new audiovisual equipment.
